It’s that time of year again! Come join the Lanesborough Volunteer Firemen’s Association for our 9th annual Ice Fishing Derby! Great family fun for all! Cash prizes! Raffles! Door prize included with entry!
Where: Pontoosuc Lake! Registration is behind Narragansett Park by the boat launch. The usual spot for those who have fished our derby before. If you haven’t fished our derby or don’t know where to register 93 Narragansett Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201, your GPS will get you there.
When: Saturday, Jan 28th, 2023 6:00 AM-2:00 PM. The bad weather or bad ice date is the following Saturday same time.
$15 Entry. Kids 12 & Under are free! Pre-Registration is available at Onota Boat Livery during their normal business hours
Prizes:
Adults: Cash Prizes 1st 2nd and 3rd Place for each Bass, Pike, and Pickerel.
Kids: Also prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd Place for the same three species of fish!
Door Prize: Weber Gas Grill. Ticket included with entry fee
Raffle Tickets: 50/50 at registration
“Big” Raffle Tickets are for sale now up until just before the drawing at the end of the derby. 2 prizes! Generac Generator and Milwaukee Cordless Power Tool Set.
Food: In the morning, breakfast sandwiches will be for sale. Free Coffee and Cocoa. In the afternoon burgers are for sale!
