SUMMARY:MCVFA Region 3 Meeting
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Massachusetts Call Volunteer Firefighters Association (MCVFA)\, I would like to invite you and your MCVFA delegate (or potential delegate) to the Region 3 meeting on Wednesday\, March 11\, 2020\, at the Upton FD headquarters at 20 Church Street\, Upton\, MA 01568. \nThe Upton Fire Department and the Upton Fire and EMS Association have very graciously offered to host our meeting and will be offering us dinner! \nThey hosted last year as well\, and the dinner was terrific (worth the drive just for that)! Dinner is at 6:30 pm and the meeting will start around 7 pm. If you cannot come\, you are more than welcome to send someone else or even a few people from your department or Fire Association.  \nPlease mark your calendars\, even if your department or your association has not yet chosen to join MCVFA\, we would love to have you join us and take part in the conversation. Come meet other call and volunteer firefighters in Region 3\, which is the largest of the MCVFA regions with just under 80 departments! \nOur region runs from Dover down to the Rhode Island border\, then west to Sturbridge and Warren\, then up to Royalston and Ashburnham to Dunstable on the New Hampshire border\, then down by Westford\, Littleton\, Boxborough and Stow over to Sherborn and back to Dover. \nWhile an RSVP is not required\, please try to let us know if you are likely to come so we could warn Upton FD in advance about how many guests they should expect. But we would rather have you come and have to order extra food than not see you! \nTo RSVP or ask questions\, feel free to reach out at vpregion3@mcvfa.org. \nWe are looking for locations for future meetings\, and I am happy to come to where you are\, even for a local FD or association meeting to talk about MCVFA. \n
